In the year of 2006, an initiative has taken by a group of persons of Delhi University consisting of renowned personalities in the fields of community development for Rehabilitation of Peoples with Disability, Child Development, Education, Livelihood, Health, Agriculture, Women Empowerment,
Skill Development and Natural Resources Management in the sphere of administration for making concerted and noble efforts aimed to improve the overall quality of life of people, particularly the tribal, women, children, downtrodden and deprived sections of society, living both in rural and urban areas, so that they are able to lead a respectable, healthy and economically self-dependent life.
