Organization’s Good Governance Good governance is the basic form of accountability and is transparent to their community, stakeholders and staff. It is one of the most important components of maintaining transparency in the organization and strengthening the organization for long run. Organization has maintained transparency, responsibility accountability, participation and responsive to the needs of the people.
I-Organization management
Azad Foundation invites all the staff and key member for designing effective working policy of the organization with the motive to work in free environment. The policies are designed to keep the friendly working environment of the organization.
Executive Committee & Governing Body
EC and GB play an effective role for the development of the organization. The committee is directly involved for project formulation and financial monitoring of the projects and programme. Directly and indirectly they are also fully responsible for fund raising programme. In every six month and annually the body and Executive committee conduct meeting to make and plan strategies for growth of the organization and other development programme.
II-Financial Monitoring and Formulation
The Key staff and Executive body does regular financial monitoring of the programme and office administration. Proper bills and vouchers have been maintained and verified by the Accounts department and get approved by the Secretary and Financial Controller. The organization has separate account according to the different project, the foreign project deals with FCRA account, CSR and Government project deals with local account of the organization. The organization has its branch and Regional Office in the state and having its separate account where the Director and Regional Director is the financial authority to deal with the financial matter.
Disbursement of staff payment
The organization has payroll system for salary where the staff receives salary thorough cheque in their account in the first week of the month. There has been proper MIS system maintained where each and every staff salaries have been recorded according to their man day’s work.
Income and expenditure/ Project expenditure
Account Department has maintained the financial record of income and expenditure, receipts and payment. Organization is using tally system for updating all the income and expenditure, receipts and payment statement according to the project. Proper bills and vouchers and various accounts book have been maintained manually also for further records and reference.
