Azad Foundation is a mission driven organization with several achievements to its credit. Founded in 2006, PS is assiduously working in core areas – education, women empowerment, health, livelihood promotion, skill development, natural resource management, children development programme, training.
human resource development and promotion of rural, urban community development and social research and development – to bring about positive changes in the lives of rural and tribal disadvantaged communities. It works with a number of stakeholders including, but not limited to, deprived children, their parents and siblings; child labours and street children, deprived women and their families; aged people; poorest rural and urban families; government and non-government officials, etc. It works in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rewa, Satna, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Uttrakhand.
Azad Foundation feels that an organisation must have an active and resourceful citizen base for making a difference. Several volunteers have played important and critical roles in the past in furthering the cause that Azad Foundation espouses for. These volunteers have come from diverse backgrounds. For all of them association with Azad Foundation has been an enriching experience. Azad Foundation always maintains communication with the volunteers who have contributed to the organization.
Anyone can volunteer for Azad Foundation. It is indeed immaterial if a prospective volunteer is a student, a teacher, a professional, a social scientist, or a housewife. Education or degree of prospective volunteer is also immaterial. What matters is the presence of the spirit of volunteerism in the person.
Azad Foundation is also working in the field of international volunteering from India. PS offer a variety of volunteering opportunities for international and national volunteers in India. Azad Foundation has wider network with various institutions and development organization.
